It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.... everywhere you go!
This year in London certainly feels more magical than ever. Winter Wonderland is back, Regent Street lights sparkling, Bond Street shops fully dressed, and Covent Garden carols being sung.
Winter Wonderland became a ticketed event this year, limiting numbers throughtout the day. I pre-booked our free tickets back in August as I love to get organise, and I picked a cracker of a day! A beautitful Monday in November, bright blue skies, chilly but not freezing - and not busy at all. Take advantage of the wide choice of yummy food in the Bavarian Village and Street Food Village. Wander round the Christmas market stalls and skate off your lunch on the ice rink!
Leaving from the green gate in Winter Wonderland, walk across the park into Knightsbridge and visit the world reknowned Harrods. Be sure to enter through door 5 where the world's leading luxury store has a 15.5 metre No.5 fragrance bottle to mark the 100th anniversary of Chanel. Head down to the Lower Ground Floor... explore the festive Christmas World!
Quick tube ride from Knightsbridge to Green Park (Piccadilly line). Walk past the iconic Ritz hotel, and head to the exclusive 007 installation in the Burlington Arcade. As a celebration of the release of No Time To Die, the arcade features a stunning James Bond entrance, 007 themed arches, the world's first Bollinger 007 champagne bar and the 'OMEGA Bond House'.
Just round the corner, walk along the magical Bond Street to witness the enchanting shop windows - Cartier, Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co.... Head to toe, lights glistening - the perfect photo opportunity!! (I cannot believe me and my mama managed my Cartier photo!) #bondstreet
Final stop of the day? A Christmas day in London would not be complete without a visit to Covent Garden. Personally I think they have the best Christmas tree wrapped up with its huge red bow and tag! New this year - Ramsbury Forest Domes - for a magical dining experience. The festive, luxury domes hidden in the enchanted forest accommodate groups of up to 6 and 10 people. The dining experience lasts for 90 minutes, with the choice of three different menu packages. Click here for more information.
