Perth

Family time!

Australia had always been on my bucket list, especially as I had promised my Auntie, Uncle and cousins I would visit them in Perth. Having moved out there 16 years ago, I made a promise to them I would make it out there in 2020. I worked 2 jobs, saved and planned my itinerary throughout 2019. Looking back now, and with lockdowns since my return I was extremely fortunate and grateful for the most amazing adventure.

To anyone stuck in a mundane office job, or living a life where something is missing.... make a plan!

Kings Park

One of the world's largest and most beautiful inner city parks, and honestly the greenest grass I have ever seen!! My auntie and I spent a good few hours in the park, walking, taking photos, looking at the amazing view across to the city, and enjoying some lunch in the Botanical Café.

Other places I managed to visit before lockdown, were the city itself including London Court, South Fremantle, and a week away down to Dunsborough - (Next blog post).

Top Tip: Take a trip to Sherbert cake & bake shop in Maylands! My Uncle's favourite; they sell amazing homemade baked goods.
